This position will provide coordination and administrative services relevant to key functions of human resources management and operations. Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal labor laws
Facilitation of on-boarding, off-boarding and policies and procedures
Provide updates for FMLA, COBRA, FLSA, EEOC, ADA, Workers Comp and other state and federal regulatory requirements
Maintain records of personnel and other HR related files
Developing, standardizing and enforcing all HR policies
Supporting all managers in the execution of all HR policies
Maintaining strong employee relations and retention
Oversee and drive employee relations and development by serving as an advisor to all levels of personnel and management concerning a variety of work related issues
Ensure employees and management are able to express concerns and seek resolution in a manner that is respectful and productive for all concerned
Administering payroll and benefits
Build relationships with employees starting from the on-boarding process
Be the ground pulse of company morale by actively engaging with all employees to uncover any issues or concerns before they escalate
Provide support and serve as a liaison to operational teams
Develop and monitor HR metrics and performance
Ability to work with Accounting team to create and implement budgetary goals
Responsible for employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting
Job Requirements:
BA/BS in Business Administration, Human Resources or related course of study (or equivalent training and experience preferred)
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a HR employee relations function
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a deadline intense environment
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
Self-starter
Excellent interpersonal skills
Highly-developed organizational skills
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact with external employees and customers.
Must possess strong employee relations and retention skills
