ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DELIVERABLES:


  • Assists the HR department with varies processes, procedures, functions, and projects.
  • Ensures that all application verifications and data is received, reviewed and acceptable if findings. Accurately enters information in database and timely.
  • Ensures strict confidentiality.
  • Assists in preparing required reports for all departments, agencies, boards and committees as necessary. Assists with staff training, problem solving, issues with HRIS system.
  • Effectively records, maintains and reports human resources information. Enters new hire information, tracks and resolves problems, ensures HR files and records are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepares and maintains recruitment lists and job postings.
  • Assists with payroll functions, maintains payroll records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Assists with processing and auditing payroll, payroll invoices, and reports. Reports finding to the HR manager.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with applicants, visitors, callers, business professionals, staff at all levels within the organization.
  • It is the expectation of SACHS that all staff members exhibit critical thinking and problem solving skills which means going above and beyond your job description to find a solution.
  • Other duties as assigned by Senior HR Generalist or HR Director.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Certificate or Degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Experience. Minimum of One (1) to Two (2) years of General Office Work, or Customer Service in a office setting required. One (1) to Two (2) years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Computer data input- finger dexterity and keyboard, ability to reason, critically think and come to conclusions. Competent skills in presenting information in forms, tables, spreadsheets. Proficient with basic budget management and calculations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Communicate by phone, in person and in writing with all levels of personnel, students, patients, interns, residents. Should be committed to diversity and equality culture. Ability to operate under immense pressure and deadlines.


Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visas.
