We are thrilled to be expanding our team and are now seeking to add a Human Resources Coordinator to our “village”. This role will process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls and maintain accurate employee time records. The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the human resource function, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Enters, maintains and processes information in the payroll systems. Reviews and corrects employee timecards.
  • Ensures accurate processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, etc.
  • Processes employee status updates, including salary increases, transfers, promotions, in the HRIS.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Supports health benefit initiatives, including open enrollment, new hire enrollments, qualifying life event changes and terminations.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Prepares and maintains employee files.
  • Answer employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Supports with the training of HR policies and procedures.
  • Administers vacation and sick time.
  • Assists with the coordination of recruitment events as needed.
  • Maintains immigration and visa documentation.
  • Perform periodic audits of personnel data.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to manage employee and business information in an ethical and discreet manner when needed.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous experience with HCM systems is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
