Job Summary:We are looking to hire a dynamicHuman Resources Generalist. They will beresponsible for all facets of HR administrative tasks, benefits, HRIS management, will assist with staff training, and will oversee the physical LI office location as well as employee relations. They will be professional, friendly, and confident. There is no task too big or too small.This position requires analytical strength, strong Microsoft product skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. We are looking for a candidate who is driven, independent, and a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail. This individual must be professional as they will be handling confidential and extremely sensitive/time-sensitive information. Must have prior HR office experience.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately processes all employee requests into HR system and reporting
- Point person for educating and processing of I-9s, training updates and benefits.
- Professionally handles all Employee Relations issuesfor Long Island office and other offices as needed
- Responsible for overall disability process: meetings with staff and processing claims as needed for Worker's Compensation and Disability insurance claims
- Monthly and quarterly retention analysis and reporting
- Conducts stay, tenure, andexit interviews;communicates feedback/bring trends to light with suggestions for improvement (therapists,admin staff, management)
- Staff presentation creation
- Oversee physical office operations in our Long Island office
- Conducts new hire orientations for Long Island in person and other offices (virtual)
- Facilitates office and virtual office events
- Research and maintain HR regulations company-wide
- Other duties assigned by Director as needed

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of relevant HR office experience
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills required
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required
- Excellent demonstrated follow-up skills & attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Strong relationship building skills-must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of staff
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated adaptability and ability to manage change
- Must be resilient
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
- Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Annual Salary: $60,000-$65,000 based on experience plus bonus
Hours:Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:30pm. Must be available to come in early and/or stay late as needed. The position is a full-time exempt office role.
Friday work-from-home availability after probationary period. Must be willing to travel to our Forest Hills location quarterly to meet and greet the staff.
