Job description
Job Summary:
Responsible for the Preventive Maintenance, repair and proper operation of assigned work area. Preventive maintenance and repairs to include but not limited to minor electrical, mechanical, cosmetics, nurse call, and rated doors. Assigned area should be kept in a way to promote customer satisfaction and comfort at all times. Repairs all equipment in the shop area to include all equipment and rolling stock. Maintains shop area and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion.
Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
- 3 years of electrical AND mechanical experience
Core Responsibilities:
Employee demonstrates the ability to repair rolling stock, equipment, etc found in the shop area. Keeps supplies and stock neat and orderly.
Supports departmental core function by “providing for the comfort and safety of patients, staff, visitors and others entering our facility.”
Supports Strategic initiatives related to improving survey scores. Numerical values for room scores stated in strategic initiative must be met in order to meet this standard
Location: Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System · Facilities
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (weekends as needed), 0730-1600
