Hours/Pay:

Pay: $20-30hr (Based on experience)

Hours of Work: 8am-5pm OR 10am-7pm Monday-Friday OR Tuesday-Saturday

• Create a positive customer experience by completing the service correctly the first time with quality and care to applicable codes, to avoid refunds and recalls.
• Consistently provide accurate transparency pricing.
• Mentor and develop technicians under his/her care to achieve the desired performance metrics
• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet.
• Understand when to issue a “Lock Out/Tag Out” tag and the required follow-up steps.
• When issues are identified, prepare a detailed finding report with pictures to discuss with the

customer. Present repair options to include cost using the options sheet.

• Support technicians and apprentices on troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Complete all required documentation on services and collect, record, and deliver fees to designated office administration.
• Responsible to contact dispatch to disposition recall and warranty jobs to assure they are recorded correctly.
• Facilitate orders for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
• Process warranty parts and paperwork as the job is completed.
• Record all material used or consumed on the job for job costing and replenishing.
• Facilitate rescheduling customer appointments if call is not complete.
• Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools.
• Keep the truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.
• Protect customer’s home from damage while working and leave customer’s home cleaner than when you arrived.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure appropriate job objectives are met effectively and completely.
• Inform a supervisor and/or manager if the customer does not have HVAC service before leaving the call.
• Communicate the benefits of memberships.
• Manage to performance metrics scorecard, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Report any safety issues to supervisor and/or manager.
• Support supervisor and/or manager as a resource who can make decisions on behalf of the company for the technician team.

Position Requirements:

• EPA Certified required.
• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• A minimum of two years’ experience preferred but not required with manager’s approval in maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues.
• A valid driver’s license and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier.
• Must be highly organized with good attention to detail and follow through.
• Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Team player working in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS.
