Knowledge & Skills
- AGM survey experience.
- Working knowledge of pipeline locators.
- Working knowledge of GPS survey, Trimble, and navigation equipment.
- Proficient use of computers and applications for email, web-based forms, Microsoft Excel and other applications.
- Knowledge and experience with ATV’s, Side by Side utility vehicles.
- Be able to work outside and walk long distances (several miles) in various terrains and weather conditions.
- Must be able to perform shift work working either night or day shifts, weekends. Work shifts may be up to or over 12 hours
- Ability to take direction and execute job plan.
- Ability to communicate information to team members and client personnel in a professional manner.
- Ability to complete reports & forms in email or other software applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Extensive travel required, 80% or more domestic travel. Must be able to travel on short notice for short durations (days) and long durations (weeks).
- Employees only paid when on assignment. Work is often irregular with gaps of several days or potentially weeks between assignments.
- Project team logistics planning and execution.
- Duties include pig tracking, often in shift work involving 12+ hours, day shift or night shift, various terrains and weather conditions.
- Various survey work. Above Ground Marker survey, Anomaly Staking, other types of survey and other duties as assigned.
- Must possess a reliable 4-wheel drive vehicle and a valid driver’s Driver’s License record will be subject to review.
