Exciting Apprenticeship opportunity available for an exceptional candidate to receive a Journeyman Electrician card sponsored by Bemis Mfg.
- The apprenticeship is a four (4) year, 8000-hour, training program through Lakeshore Technical College (LTC)
- Training covers all facets of the Industrial Electrician Trade
- On-the job training will begin on first shift (minimum of 1 year), then transition to either 2nd or 3rd shift
The Industrial Electrician Apprentice is responsible for performing electrical work on production equipment and plant facilities.
The primary functions of a certified Industrial Journeyman Electrician will include installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of complex electrical and electronic equipment involved with plant facilities and production equipment.
Job duties include ability to:
- Communicate positively with all levels of employees

- Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Follow all safety practices
- Ability to understand the overall operation and control of machines
- Capability to work with automated manufacturing equipment
