Overview:
The rue21 Facilities and Maintenance department performs as a service entity to the rue21 Production team. The rue21 Industrial Maintenance Technician is expected to be reliable and competent in all listed required responsibilities, and perform their duties in a safe, competent, and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on existing mechanical and electrical equipment in an automated distribution center production environment- Perform preventative maintenance on all aspects of automated conveyor systems in an automated distribution center production environment
- Assist in electrical as well as mechanical installations and upgrades in an automated distribution center production environment
- Research and define replacement parts, obtain pricing, create purchase orders, and the requisitioning of parts for projects and general maintenance repairs
- Perform general construction installations and repairs as necessary
- Assist in general housekeeping responsibilities when necessary
- Perform general property maintenance, including snow removal when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

Hourly $20-23

Qualifications:
- Three to Five years previous maintenance experience in automated distribution center production environment or fulfillment center environment
- Must have a general understanding of electrical circuits in both single and three phase environments
- Industrial trades’ vocational technical school certificate preferred
Documented training / certification or verifiable specialty experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Electrical installation and troubleshooting
- Automated electronic controls
- Automated material handling equipment
- Programmable Logic Controllers / PLC Troubleshooting
- Mechanical trades
- HVAC
- Lift equipment repair
- Pneumatics / hydraulics
