Zola’s Learning Academy, located in Lawncrest Philadelphia, is looking for a responsible and qualified Infant & Young Toddler Child Care Teacher to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our child care facility. Part-time position available Mon, Tues, & Thurs 11:00-5:00pm and Friday 6:30am-4:30pm.

Successful candidate will have at least two years of experience with children in a childcare setting, and, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Preference given to candidate who has attained or is in the process of earning, a CDA certification, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Keystone Star Quality child care experience most desired.

This is an immediate position; only serious candidates need apply.

Qualifications:

- At least two years of experience working with children.

-Ability to create or utilize center program provided lesson plans and themes.
- Ability to make good decisions.
- Proven ability to relate to and work with children and families.
- Ability to identify and respond to a crisis immediately.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

- Pediatric First Aid/CPR

-ServeSafe Certification

CDA/Degree in Early Childhood Education

- Bilingual

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement our program provided Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum Lessons
- Ongoing Classroom Management
- Effective Communication with Families and Staff
- Perform Reporting Functions
- Ensure a Safe and Healthy Environment
- Supervision of Support staff in Classroom

Must have or be willing to attain background checks and clearances, up-to-date physical, and complete annual training.
