Steere House is a 120 bed, non-profit nursing facility located in Providence, RI. We provide short term, long term and memory care services. We are looking for talented, dedicated professionals to join our team.

Infection Control / MDS Registered Nurse

24 - 40 Hours (Flexible) Monday - Friday with on call rotation

We're looking for a caring, compassionate, experienced RN Infection Preventionist who loves taking care of the elderly and prioritizes communication and engagement.

Requirements include:

• An active Registered Nurse license
• Long term care experience preferred
• Knowledge of regulations and standards of nursing practice
• MDS experience preferred but willing to train
• Good interdisciplinary communication

Responsibilities include:

• Effective direction, management and operations of the infection control program
• Educating staff on areas of infection control practices
• Reporting requirements
• MDS back up
