CCHCS seeks to fill multiple permanent/full-time Information Technology Associate position in the Information Technology Services Division.
Under the general supervision of the Solution Center Manager, Information Technology (IT) Supervisor II, the IT Associate performs a variety of journey level tasks in connection with the analysis, installation, implementation and support of IT services and systems. This position will serve as part of the 1st level support Solution Center IT help desk. Primary tasks include answering customer calls, monitoring and responding to requests received through the IT helpdesk, documenting, troubleshooting, and tracking service disruptions throughout the enterprise. This position requires problem solving while using Information Technology infrastructure Library (ITIL) based service management guidelines as well as industry best practices. The incumbent must maintain a customer-friendly and professional attitude during all contacts. The incumbent must maintain confidentiality of information acquired while performing job duties, demonstrate ethical behavior and work cooperatively with others. Occasional travel to institutions and after hours support of California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) software applications and systems may be required due to Operational need.
