The Inside Sales Representative at Cobra Wire & Cable will be responsible for driving the sales efforts by being the day-to-day point of contact with our customers, by answering customer inquiries and providing them with quotes. You will prospect new business and building relationships, while providing a world-class customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Contact current and prospective customers to sell and explain products
• Help resolve customer problems, answer questions, and complete reports
• Prepare/present proposals and quotes
• Recommend products based on customer needs
• Quote and place orders
• Provide administrative assistance and support
• Analyze government and commercial contracts
• Respond effectively to questions from executive leadership, managers, staff, customers, and vendors
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

• At least 2 years of Inside Sales experience (preferably with wire and cable)
• Experience with cold calling clients and building a book of business
• The ability to negotiate and understand contracts
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn products, and sales processes
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely by phone and email
• Experience with Oracle and Salesforce preferred
• MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
