Installer

• Summary:
  • Installers work in factories, power plants and other industrial settings to move, repair, assemble, install, or dismantle machinery.

  • Must be willing to flex schedule.

  • Must be willing to travel stateside and abroad.

  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds.

  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment.

  • Required to operate heavy machinery (P.I.T, overhead crane, scissor lift and aerial lifts)

• Reporting Relationships
  • The Installer reports directly to the Millwright

  • From time to time, other department heads may request to add additional responsibilities; at all times the Installer should be responsive of those requests.

• Responsibilities / Duties
  • Read and interpret prints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings.

  • Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time.

  • Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation

  • Travel to construction sites to meet project-based needs.

  • Welding experience is a HUGE plus

• Measures of Performance
  • Machinery is installed as detailed by the print.

  • Maintenance is performed as detailed by the manufacturer or industry standards.

• Compensation
  • Range to be established.
• Must live locally to the DFW area
