Job description
The primary location of this position is on the main Cullowhee, NC campus.The Department of English Studies at Western Carolina University is seeking a candidate for a 9-month Instructor position. This is a one-year fixed-term faculty position with a teaching load of 4/4 and service responsibilities. Anticipated begin work date is August 2023.
This position will include teaching classes in both our writing program (ENGL 101 and 202) and our US Latinx Studies Minor Program. Teaching assignments could include, for example, teaching writing classes within the Latinx Learning Community and Liberal Studies classes on Latinx literatures.
