INVENTORY CYCLE COUNTER (NON-EXEMPT)

Franklin Sports, Inc. is looking to hire an Inventory Clerk located in our Memphis, TN distribution center, and this position will report to the Inventory Manager.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review the locations to be cycle counted to assess equipment needed. Rearrange cartons, if necessary, for most accurate counting
• Using a pre-programmed computer menu, enter the assigned range of bins to cycle count
• Cycle count product in bins using scanning equipment
• Run variance reports from the computer and verify accuracy
• Make necessary changes to location quantities in the computer program
• Upload results of the cycle count
• Must be willing and able to work overtime hours as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of six (6) months of related warehouse experience

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Understanding of OSHA and safety requirements
• Possesses strong math skills
• Forklift certified
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

The work will be performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to changing temperatures. While performing the duties of this job, this person is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
