Inventory Control Associate

We are looking for a detail oriented, hardworking individual to join our inventory team. The Inventory Control Associate is reasonable for providing precise and accurate bi weekly cycle counts. You will need to use computer software and other technologies to tag items with correct information and locations. You will also report all shortages and deficiencies to the Manager to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy

Expectations

· Conduct an updated bi weekly cycle count

· Report all discrepancies in inventory to Inventory Manager

· Maintain inventory accuracy

· Ensuring all products are labeled correctly and in good condition

· Communicate with Inventory Manager on a timely basis of daily issues that arise

· Perform necessary research to obtain required data for product

· Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for transport of products

· Manage, monitor, consolidate to allow utilization of the rack space effectively

· Provide a positive and constructive attitude

· Perform other related duties as requested

Qualifications

ü High School Diploma and minimum 1 year of Logistics or Warehouse Inventory

ü Forklift Certified preferred (We provide training and certify in house)

ü Ability to work extended hours

ü Proficient computer skills

ü Ability to be flexible in a fast-moving environment

ü Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

ü Organized and able to work with minimal supervision

ü Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

Currently, we operate six retail locations, two warehouses, and a distribution facility. We have three retail banners including Sam Levitz Furniture, Sam's Furniture Outlet, and three Ashley Home Stores. We also operate our online store, samlevitz.com

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
