Job Summary
Duties include management of inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing, requisitioning, shipping and receiving. Duties are not limited to the supply room but extend to all areas of the hospital. Responsible for pulling products for cases as assigned. Inventory technician assures that supply areas are organized, maintained, and par levels are optimized to support department demands.
Responsibilities:
1. Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed
2. Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas
3. Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care
4. Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits
5. Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory
6. Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items
7. Issues and credits materials from the inventory management system
8. Responsible for labeling bins and handling requests to change pars
9. Maintains clean and orderly stock locations
10. Acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed
11. Works with and follows instructions of buyers and Divisional Inventory Coordinator in the event of recalls to pull relevant products
12. Assists in other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):
High school graduate, GED, or equivalent

Experience (required and preferred):
Minimum of one (1) year supply chain related experience or other relevant experience preferred
