We are searching for an Inventory Specialist- Support Services to, under the direction of the Director, Materials Management, Distribution and Logistics or designee, perform a wide variety of duties including but not limited to:

• Proactively identify, develop and implement reporting and analytics to support the monitoring of inventory levels and providing the Supply Chain Team with reporting to drive strategic planning.
• Develop and lead Materials Management staff in inventory management transactions.
• Work in close cooperation with the Supply Chain Team, and other Hospital medical staff, department directors and all other staff on Materials matters while exercising a high standard of judgment and business practices.
• No leadership responsibilities.

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day shift: M-F as needed; 8:00am-4:30pm;

Location: Southcoast Business Center – Fairhaven, MA

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Must possess strong customer skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.
• Must be able to work independently on assigned projects, seeking guidance as needed.
• Strong ERP experience, Oracle PeopleSoft experience preferred.
• Must understand the healthcare supply chain and inventory management practices.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and seasonal Influenza. Must provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
