Summary
Young Living is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Project Manager to lead business critical development and technical projects. The Project Manager is responsible for leading development and operations resources and interfacing with business and end users in the development of software and other IT solutions. The Digital Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of projects from planning through delivery, including project scheduling, sprint & release planning, team management, cross-department coordination, budget tracking, and project performance. Effective management and reporting of project constraints which include, but are not limited to, schedule, resources, cost, quality, dependencies, and other risks. The Digital Project Manager manages all communication related to a project both within the project team as well as with the business.

Create, maintain, and execute full scale project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Coordinate project tasks and schedule communication within Digital Product Management, IT Development, third-party teams, and other YL organizations in conjunction with Agile Scrum teams

Identify resource needs or gaps; tracks and assigns as necessary individual tasks and responsibilities.

Plan, schedule and manage project timelines in an Agile software development environment.

Monitor and manage progress and day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects and their scopes.

Report on project progress, problems, and solutions; coordinates with Agile Scrum and other teams to determine current project state.

Minimize exposure and risk of projects through mitigation planning and implementation.

Ensure project documents and artifacts are complete, current, organized, and stored appropriately.

Ensure assigned projects are on-profile, on-time and on-cost and communicates any deviations to the customer(s)/stakeholder(s)

Effectively manage project changes and interventions to achieve project commitments.

Conduct project evaluations, assessments, and retrospectives of results, identifying and implementing improvements.

Implements project management methodology, tools, and practices with exceptional skill and expertise.

Use effective consensus-building skills and coaching to foster productive working relationships with team members, other departments, and external clients or vendors.

Conducts status and working meetings with project teams as needed to complete projects.

Supervisory Responsibility
This job will not have direct supervisory responsibilities; however, the IT Digital Project Manager will indirectly manage and lead development and cross-functional team members through to project completion.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, photocopiers, shredders, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use manual dexterity to handle, feel, and operate objects, tools and controls, and reach with hands and arms. This individual is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file and lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Education & Experience
-
A college degree in a technical discipline plus three to five years of IT Project Management experience, primarily with Agile software development and delivery.

Demonstrated experience and success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
-
PMP/PMI or other equivalent Project Management certification.
-
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
