The IT Generalist – AV Analyst has a variety of responsibilities revolving around end user support and conferencing systems and technologies. Typically, individuals in this role cover a broad range of technology capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Performs day-to-day operational support and continuous improvement tasks related to the firm’s technological ability to host either virtual or onsite events, including real-time troubleshooting
• Performs work processes for video conferencing and audiovisual equipment ensuring day-to-day activities of the team area are completed
• Creates, updates, and completes service requests, incidents, and change tickets for assigned area
• Develops and maintains standards and documentation for conference room audiovisual equipment, including procedures, training, and job aids
• Ensures relevant stakeholders are looped in for reactive and proactive troubleshooting, including information needed for periodic health checks, capacity, and issues
• Assists in the implementation of new process integration into day-to-day functions
• Liaises with internal stakeholders (executive admins, PC LAN technicians) and external stakeholders (vendors, clients, and other teams) for any required troubleshooting and/or support projects
• Works on the daily deliverable of routine and defined outputs, while at the same time developing knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Strong familiarity with popular videoconferencing solutions (e.g, MS Teams, WebEx, Zoom; Cisco videoconferencing hardware)
• Strong communication skills essential
