We are looking for an IT Manager to join our team at our Lincoln location. In this role you will lead a team of IT Technicians and enable business success through delivering a safe, fast, friendly and reliable technology environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure internal and external customers have an excellent experience in regards to technology.
• Enable the business to be successful through safe, fast, friendly and reliable technology environment.
• Ensure IT security for AKRS in regards to secure data, systems, network, hardware and backup systems.
• Ensure detailed documentation is accurate, complete and readily available to maintain continuity of operations.
• Ensure knowledge transfer of systems, networks, infrastructure, security protocols and procedures is delivered to IT support staff and tested.
• Assist with the Management of information technology vendors, licensing and negotiating contracts and technology related purchases.
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Manage IT help desk and support staff. Recruit, train, and develop and coach employees, communicating job expectations and appraising performance
• Assist with the design, development, implementation and coordination of systems, policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Ability to lead a team and delegate work to staff
• Proven track record as an IT Manager or relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in data center management and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Bachelor's degree in related field
