Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Trilogy Health Services is looking for an IT Network Engineer for its Home Office team. This role is a flexible, hybrid position.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The IT Network Engineer configures, deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots interoperability and support of virtual and physical servers, as well as workstations, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment while coordinating deployments with network and system administrators. Other key responsibilities include:

• Defines, documents and enforces network system standards.
• Designs and implements network solutions and/or improves the efficiency of current networks.
• Installs, configures and supports network equipment including firewalls, routers, WAP, servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and cloud connectivity.
• Monitors and tests network performance for potential bottlenecks and identifies possible solutions.
• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies while defining and monitoring access across all network environments (Cloud, On-prem).
• Maintains security, backup and redundancy strategies for network equipment across the organization.
• Performs high-level root-cause analyses for service interruption recovery and creating preventive measures.
• Works with other departments to resolve all technical issues as they arise.
• Confers with network users about solving existing system problems.
• Communicates effectively with IT support staff to ensure network operations run smoothly.
• Liaises with vendors and keeps relevant stakeholders up to date with developments.
• Ability to mentor and assist other members of the IT team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Three+ years' experience in network architecture and deployment.
• Three+ years' experience support Cisco equipment
• Five+ years' experience in network engineering and IT support.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field / or min 5 years as network engineer
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• LAN knowledge
• CCNA or better

Preferred Skills

• Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with various network operating systems and their implications.
• In-depth knowledge of firewalls, switching and network configurations.
• Knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, network operating systems and Internet standards, plus PC and peripheral systems
• Knowledge of building, maintaining, and repairing a virtual infrastructure, cloud or physical.
• Demonstrated project development and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of LAN, MAN, WAN Topologies.

Physical requirements

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
