ICF is seeking a hands-on IT Product Manager to work within a dynamic and highly innovative team environment in our Growth, Engagement, and Innovation group. This position requires project oversight, product design expertise, and team management.
You may be required to participate in periodic drug testing and background checks.

What you will be doing:
-
Define, coordinate, and track tasks related to software updates, migrations, and deployments.
-
Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery.
-
Lead meetings with stakeholders and support preparation of functional requirements documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to determine how to address business needs via software solutions, balancing factors such as business value, timing needs, repeatability, and maintainability.

Work closely with the development team on design, testing, and deployment of new instances, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Evolve and improve software development practices to address pain points, realize efficiencies, and enable scaling.

Coach and mentor junior and mid-level staff
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
-
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, or related field
-
5+ years of experience supporting aspects of the software development life cycle
-
2+ years of product or project management experience with demonstrated ability to manage schedule, scope, and risk
What we would like you to have:

Subject matter expertise with utility energy efficiency programs

Comprehensive knowledge and experience in MS Office products, such as Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

Experience developing or implementing software products deployed across multiple customers/organizations

Ability to provide direction of project teams to successfully execute project tasks, controlling scope and schedule

Ability to coordinate diverse program stakeholders
-
Ability to develop strong subject matter expertise, lead analyses, and recommend and implement cost effective solutions

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, standard processes, and best practices
-
Strong customer service focus
-
Ability to work with and lead blended teams of ICF and client staff

Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
