Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented ITAR Specialist to join our Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) team. The selected candidate will assist in providing sustainment support services (operational engineering and logistics support) globally for some 25,000 vehicles including the Army's Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, or MRAPs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- ITAR Specialist is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions supporting logistics efforts.
- Manages international supply of export orders, including effective communication towards customers and internal stakeholders on availability and deliveries.
- Works with buyers and vendors to obtain ITAR information and export control classifications.
- Assist to mark ITAR items in shipping paperwork and reference the license number to expedite shipments.
- Search NSN and part numbers in ERP system to flag them ITAR and assist in releasing shipments.
- Assist with tools and training materials for operational processes for logistics and export activities.
- Assist with compiling and obtaining information for license applications. Assist with obtaining export filing declarations copies from carriers such as DHL, UPS, FedEx.
Required Qualifications :
- Selected candidates must be a U.S. Citizen .
- Three (3) years’ experience and a BA/BS degree. Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Logistics OR General/other degree.
- Experience managing regulatory requirements impacting imports and exports.
- Experience managing regulatory requirements impacting imports and exports.
- Process oriented with ability to apply technology to the solutions of real business problems.
- Knowledge of distribution and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of processes and systems related to international trade compliance.
- International business experience required.
- Ability to use standard office equipment.
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active ( DoD) Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and knee.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
