JANITOR / CLEANER - RDU Airport
JOB SUMMARY:
Cleans public-use facilities inside Airport Terminal and concourses. Task include but not limited to dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, grooming, trash removal, cleaning and sanitizing areas that include but not limited to bathrooms, common areas, escalators, elevators and stairwells, furniture, windows, sidewalks, wall, flat and floor surfaces. Assembles and uses necessary equipment and supplies. This includes but not limited to hand tools, motorized equipment, chemical and cleaning utensils to address specific work assignments. Aid guests that may have questions or concerns. Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned by Janitorial Operations Supervisor and Janitorial Operation Manager.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Perform all cleaning and routine maintenance duties for all facilities (restrooms / nursery room / family restroom / offices / inside-outside grounds)
- Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows cleaning and moving furniture and equipment and etc.
- Opens and locks facilities during business hours and monitor buildings against vandalism and theft.
- Responsible for completing daily task.
- Ensure efficiency of team work and make adjustment as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by your Supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with the same field is a factor but not necessary.
- Hardworking and flexible, work at a fast-paced and in a multi-tasked job is a must.
