Encadria Staffing Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Technician to work at the Koch Technology Solutions facility in Chadds Ford, PA. We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter and capable of working safely in the lab with minimal guidance. Prior analytical instrument operating experience in Gas Chromatography, UV-Vis or ICP is preferred, and experience operating liquid chromatography columns is a plus.

Duration: Temporary to Hire Opportunity

Schedule: 40 hours a week, Hours may vary depending on the status of experiments

A Day In The Life Includes:

• Monitor chemical processes and test product quality to make sure that they meet standards and specifications
• Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Maintain production equipment and troubleshoot problems
• Prepare chemical solutions
• Conduct, compile, and interpret results of chemical and physical experiments, tests, and analyses for a variety of purposes, including research and development

What You Will Need:

• Two years or more of experience working in a chemical, environmental, or quality laboratory environment
• One year or more of experience working in Ion Chromatography and Gas Chromatography analysis
• Experience with analyzing testing data to verify quality of raw materials
• Experience with utilizing statistics to analyze data and make inferences
• Must be able and willing to work safely, including wearing and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to learn various PC-based applications

What Will Put You Ahead?

• Experience with building product testing and building science knowledge
• Experience operating liquid chromatography columns a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or related science fields
• Prior analytical instrument operating experience in Gas Chromatography, UV-Vis or ICP is preferred.
