Summary: The Landscape Maintenance Field Manager is responsible for the quality, efficiency, training, staffing, and safety of the property enhancement and landscape maintenance (bed detail) crews. This will be accomplished by performing the following tasks:

Job Duties:

  • Oversee the daily production of three property enhancement and three landscape maintenance crews.
  • Hold a daily morning huddle with account managers and crew members to ensure a daily plan that helps teams achieve throughput and efficiency goals.
  • Ensure all work tickets are completed on time and 100% to specs, videos posted every day.
  • Conduct regular field training sessions to maintain a high level of education and quality.
  • Provide technical knowledge regarding services and proactive landscape care.
  • Hold team members accountable to all safety procedures.
  • Hold team members accountable to proper maintenance & cleaning of all equipment & tools.
  • Evaluate crew performance and conduct performance reviews each season.
  • Thoroughly understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Work with production team on snow removal operations during the winter months

Accountability:

  • Production throughput goals for each crew
  • Efficiency goals for each crew
  • Zero safety incidents
  • Documented training sessions

Desired Experience and Education:

  • Degree and/or certification in horticulture or related field of study
  • 6+ years working in the field with hands-on landscape maintenance experience
  • Strong math skills – experience in gathering take-offs and estimating work
  • Experience in leading, organizing and managing multiple people
  • Working knowledge of fleet and equipment used in the industry
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving and criminal record
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a PLUS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional, positive, and friendly demeanor at all times.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Total compensation of $53,000 to 61,000, DOE
  • Profit share bonus if earned

Works closely with: General Manager, Production Manager, HR Team, Mechanic, Supply Yard Team

Direct reports: 12-15

Dress Code: Uniform

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
