Evergreen Yard Care is a smaller family owned & operated lawn/landscape & excavation company with two locations, South Portland & Winslow ME. We are a safety focused and innovative company that prides ourself on bringing value to our clients and other companies we work with with solutions to a healthy lawn & landscape for your property! All of our equipment is well-maintained and in safe operating condition. We do provide T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, winter jackets, and more as a company. We have lots of systems in place, and we standardize all our equipment and procedures.

Most of our days in the spring through fall start around seven or eight in the morning and we typically work until 430 5 o’clock. There are lots of days where we get out early all depends on the teams productivity for that particular day or week. During the course of the week, there are times where you will be landscaping, mowing lawns, installing hardscapes, and working on excavation projects. Some weeks you’re more heavy in a certain area of work than others, but it keeps things interesting as you are always doing something different at a different location. As the company grows there a more defined roles you can step into, but this is a good way to break the ice with a lot of different aspects of this industry to find out what you like the best.

We also operate in the winter doing plowing so opportunity for year-round employment is available for those that wish to continue past landscaping season.

We would like all interested parties to have a clean driving record and a license. Reliable transportation to work.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude and an eye for safety are things we look for in an ideal candidate.

Starting pay is based on experience and skill set. Benefits are available to full-time employees after three months of employment. Health insurance, paid major holidays, paid vacation, dental and eye, life, insurance, and more. As a company we do contribute towards your health insurance.
