FULL-TIME LAUNDRY PERSONNEL // PERSONAL PARA LAVADO

*$15.00 /hr, *includes attendance bonus./*Incluye bonos por asistencia

Full-time position, Monday thru Friday – Starting at 5:00 am, finish time varies up to 3:00 pm).

Puesto a tiempo completo, de lunes a viernes – Entrada a las 5:00 am, hora de salida varia hasta las 3:00 pm).

REQUIREMENTS / REQUISITOS

• Legally authorized to work in the USA. / Autorizacion legal para trabajar en EUA.
• Willingness to work. / Disposición para el trabajo.
• Willing to learn and take direction. / Disposicion para aprender y seguir instrucciones.
• Able to communicate in Spanish / Comunicarse en español.
• Laundry experience a plus. / Se valorará la experiencia en lavandería.
• Attention to details is essential. / La atención a los detalles es esencial.
• Able to distinguish the full range of colors and learn different type of fabrics. / Capaz de distinguir toda la gama de colores y aprender los diferentes tipos de tejidos.
• Able to read garments’ care labels. / Capaz de leer las etiquetas de cuidado de las prendas.
• Able to stand for long hours and work in high temperature environment, with no air conditioning. / Capaz de trabajar de pies durante largas horas, en ambiente de mucho calor, sin aire acondicionado.
• Able to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push/pull loads, up to 40 lbs, unassisted. / Capaz de agacharse, estirarse, levantar, empujar/jalar cargas de hasta 40 libras, sin ayuda.

DUTIES / DEBERES

Washing and stain removal of textiles per industry’s standard practices to include,

Lavado y desmanche de textiles según prácticas estándares de la industria incluyendo,

• Sorting garments and household items prior to washing and after drying / Clasificar y separar los artículos antes del lavado y después del secado.
• Use of laundry products and stain removal agents based on type of fabric. / Uso de productos para lavado y quitamanchas en base al tipo de tejido.
• Operate washing and drying machines, load and unload them. / Operar las máquinas de lavado y secado, poner y sacar la ropa.
• Clean up machines and keep laundry area organizded. / Limpiar las maquinas y mantener el area de lavado organizada.
• Other duties as assigned by management. / Otras labores asignadas.
