Job title: Lead Business Systems Analyst

Current need:

The Lead Business Systems Analyst is responsible for partnering closely with the business at all levels to develop an in-depth understanding of their strategies and priorities in order to identify opportunities to implement digital and analytics capabilities that will help the business succeed.

Reporting to the Digital Transformation Leader for the Provider Solutions business

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment and assist the Digital Transformation Lead with developing technology strategy, planning and decision-making, as well as overseeing execution across all key initiatives. In addition, the Lead Business Systems Analyst may manage and direct the activities of technical and other personnel, including vendors and consultants, to ensure the successful completion of multiple projects and adherence to quality standards, budgetary guidelines, and timelines. Specific responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Understanding business goals and interdependencies of each transformation initiative
  • Accountable for requirements gathering and analysis by working with Subject Matter Experts to capture business/user requirements and translate into actionable items that support the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems to address unmet needs
  • Evaluates new digital innovations in the industry that might meet evolving business requirements
  • Liaison between the IT development group and business unit to ensure smooth delivery of projects
  • Plans and facilitates cross-functional team and client meetings/forums to drive collaboration, alignment, and decision making
  • Contributes to creation and oversight of project plans and tracking logs as appropriate, identifies blockers/risks, and crafts recommendations for resolution or escalation
  • Works with IT stakeholders to estimate costs and resource needs and monitors project financials to ensure budget targets are managed appropriately
  • Prepares communications and makes presentations on digital initiatives to keep all stakeholders informed
  • Additional responsibilities include project management oversight, team management, generating timelines and roadmaps, identifying risks and proposing mitigation plans

Experience & Skills
  • Overall 10+yrs experience and Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst supporting large-scale, cross-functional programs/projects
  • Experience with implementing and optimizing customer engagement platforms including Salesforce Lightning, Marketo, and Highspot
  • Customer journey mapping (Patient, HCP)
  • Experience developing innovative data and analytics capabilities including reporting dashboards, AI/ML, RPA
  • Understanding of and experience with Agile and waterfall project planning and management methodologies
  • Financial acumen
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer/stakeholder management skills
  • Skills with project management tools—e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.— and Microsoft Office Suite including MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio
  • Strong familiarity with the various IT functional areas including software development, infrastructure, architecture, customer support and data management
  • Strong client engagement and communication skills

Domain / Industry Experience:
  • Experience within the healthcare/pharma IT and/or healthcare field with knowledge of medical/hospital business process, clinical/pharmacy operations
  • Experience with healthcare technology platforms (EMR, Pharmacy management systems, Digital Health solutions, etc) strongly preferred
  • Experience implementing solutions for Sales and Marketing organizations in the healthcare industry strongly preferred
  • Previous consulting experience in healthcare/pharma industry is a plus

Education
  • 4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience. B.S. or B.A. in Finance, Business, Technology, preferred.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$117,600 - $196,000
