Job Description & Qualifications

As such, we are currently seeking a Lead .NET Developer who demonstrates the following skills and brings the following experience:
  • Technology stack expert experience:
    • .NET Framework (ideally minimum of 5 years’ experience)
    • .NET Core 5 (or above) desirable
    • SOAP and REST Web Services
    • JSON and XML
    • Visual Studio 2019
    • An understanding of how travel suppliers use technology such as ‘channel managers’ to generate online sales would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical phrases into easily understandable lay terms, and to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
  • Ideally will have undertaken several API integrations with travel or e-commerce systems.
  • Able to proactively identify issues, troubleshoot and analytically solve problems.
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize own workload and meet deadlines.

Job Snapshot: Tourism Exchange USA (TXUSA) is seeking a lead developer to join our new product team. The lead developer will be responsible for managing the development of integrations with third-party travel system APIs, as well as working with the program team to identify new integration opportunities and translating those into technical requirements for any supporting development team members.

Essential Duties:
  • Scope and understand how to integrate TXUSA APIs and external third-party travel system APIs.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of TXUSA products.
  • Collaborate within a cross functional team to develop, design and implement enhancements and technical solutions that will accomplish the goals of the TXUSA program.
  • Manage and coordinate development of local TXUSA developer resources.
  • Manage various administrative tasks.
  • Actively participate and assist as part of the overall team.
  • Articulate and share your knowledge and techniques with the team.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies/industry trends and applies them to optimize software application efficiency and usability.

Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal, in order to support ongoing education, training & team workshops.
  • Not to exceed 10% of annual allocation of time.

Location: We are open to a remote candidate located anywhere in the US or an in-office candidate based in our Sarasota, FL or Lakewood, CO office.

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000 DOE
