Job description
The Learning and Development Manager oversees the training and development needs of Zoetis Reference Laboratories. The LDM will develop and implement programs to address the technical training, and continued development needs of the organization. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of these programs, and develop policies and procedures as applicable. You will assist the leadership managers in attracting and recruiting world class talent.
The Learning and Development Manager will work cross functionally within the Zoetis organization and continuously partners with the Head of US operations and ZRL's leadership team. Currently, this is an individual contributor position and and an exciting opportunity to develop the program and position for the future!
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or higher in business or Education.
- Experience in leadership development, training and attracting talent!
- Management and leadership
Demonstrated knowledge/skill/ ability in areas of:
- Curriculum design, teaching methodology
- Evaluation of systems and learning styles/methods
- Advanced writing skills
- Team Work
- Report writing, information tracking, and documentation
- Effective communication with administration
- Self-direction, self-evaluation
- Computer usage for writing, record keeping, tracking, etc.
Preference given to those with clinical and especially laboratory backgrounds and experience.
