Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno College of Engineering is seeking three dynamic, career-oriented individuals, with demonstrated expertise to teach undergraduate multidisciplinary engineering and computer science courses. The Lecturers will be expected to engage in service activities including working in the Tutoring Center. There are three positions available and each position is full time (9-month), non-tenure track. The positions will be available as early as July 1, 2023. The salary and benefits will be competitive and the positions are renewable contingent upon funding.

Required Qualifications
MS degree (or MS degree candidates within one year of graduation) in Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching college level engineering; demonstration of outreach activities; coaching philosophy; experience building and monitoring student teams.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in informal and formal teams with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

Grants-in-aid for Faculty Employees
The University is proud to provide a reduced-rate tuition benefit to faculty and qualified dependents. Faculty can take up to six credits per semester at a reduced rate. Dependents of faculty have unlimited credits, but in order to be eligible children must be unmarried and under the age of 24 and must receive at least 50% of their financial support from the employee and/or employee’s spouse or domestic partner.
