Position: Legal Assistant
Location: Crofton, MD
Salary: $15-17 per hour

Multi-state legal recoveries law firm serving the needs of national, state and local financial institutions throughout the southeastern and northeastern United States.
Who we are looking for:
Seeking a full-time Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our rapidly growing litigation/post judgment team.
The Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail for the legal team
- Prepare, review and assemble all legal documents
- Assist with docket management
- Communicate with courts, opposing counsel and process servers
- Track and receive all media, affidavits, and pleadings
- Generate and track all judgment documents
- Enter all applicable information into firm's case management system
A successful candidate will be:

- Able to prioritize to meet goals
- Good problem solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Database Management systems
Preferred:
- Collections or law firm experience
