• Greet all guests at the cashier window as well as those walking through the lobby
• Collect the total retail charges from the customers in cash, check or credit transaction
• Make change and issue receipts to guests
• Reconcile cash drawer daily
• Answer all guest questions concerning services performed or products purchased or refers them to someone who can
• Handle guest complaints with respect, integrity, and poise; and when necessary, refers dissatisfied guests to the appropriate individuals for resolution
• Files Repair Orders as directed by management
• Answers, transfers, and provides information to incoming service calls
• Performs clerical duties as assigned
• Assist in all other areas of the parts department as needed
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Maintain high ethical standards in all actions

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of two (2) years customer service experience, preferably in an automobile dealership
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts as well as a good understanding of basic mathematical concepts (such as add, subtract, divide, multiply and percentages)
• Detail oriented, and great follow up skills with internal and external guests
• Must be able to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions as well as procedure manuals in the English language
• Must have a valid CA driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
