• Provide behavioral health consultation, including the development of Mental Health and Health Education materials to the program staff and Primary Care Providers through group training or to individual staff, as directed.
• Providing counseling staff with tools to utilize along with clinical interventions.
• Train counselors and other program personnel as necessary in treatment protocols, evidenced based practices, and treatment plan development. Train counselors on clinical intervention strategies, treatment planning and bh screenings as necessary for excellent service delivery standards.
• Work in collaboration with Billing, QA, and under the direction of the Director of Healthcare Services to develop and implement behavioral quality assurance processes as required and in compliance with all Federal, State, County, and Funder requirements.
• Assess professional capabilities of counselors, licensed and registered, to provide behavioral health services.
• Conduct case conferences with counselors, managers and other clinical staff weekly. Review and sign off on all case records required and in compliance with all Federal, State, County, or funders, for counseling staff.
• Attend trainings and workshops as required for professional development or mandated by contract
• Participate as a member/facilitate the multi-disciplinary team meeting, including primary care providers, psychiatrists, and administrative staff, Quality Assurance Program Specialists, and other key staff in weekly programmatic working meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding privileged administrative and client information in a professional manner.
• Track and report on quality and compliance issues
• Track and report quality improvement data against benchmarks.
• Monitor, track, and report on outcome measures.
• Follow Code of Conduct.
• Other duties as required.

• Good clinical understanding of adult mental health, diagnosis in the DSM IV-TR, and brief, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing
• Knowledge of ASAM assessments​

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $46,359.93 - $100,979.35 per year
