Léon 1909 (instagram.com/leon1909shelterisland/) on Shelter Island, NY is seeking experienced full-time Line Cooks to join our team.

Léon 1909 is a new countryside French & Italian restaurant located on beautiful Shelter Island.

The ideal candidate loves food, is creative, and has a passion for hospitality. You are skilled at maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure and value teamwork. Your growth potential is strong.

Position:

• Line Cook

Compensation:

• $20 hourly
• Paid weekly

Schedule requirements:

• 40 hours weekly
• 4-5 days weekly
• 8-10 hour days

Language requirements:

• English

Experience:

• 2+ years of previous Line Cook experience in a high-volume upscale casual or fine dining restaurant
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
