Touchmark in the West Hills is Portland's leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking candidates with a passion for excellent food and outstanding hospitality to join our team as a Cook.

$20.00 an hour + DOE

As part of the culinary team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a high quality full service active adult retirement community by assisting the Chef with culinary tasks as well as playing a key role in contributing to our resident and guest satisfaction and goals. Your commitment to delivering the highest quality of food, product standards, sanitation, and safety will ensure that every person’s dining experience is extraordinary, every time.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
• Have proven cooking experience
• Have experience working in a high volume kitchen
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
• Be willing to work weekends and holidays
• Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
