About the Position
We are looking for an exceptional Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. The Logistics Coordinator will work out of our Century City corporate office. Responsibilities include organizing and monitoring the storage and distribution of our products. The goal: maximize our operational efficiency and minimize costs.
The Logistics Coordinator will be an excellent communicator and possess a strong attention to detail, great record-keeping abilities, and a customer-oriented approach. You must be well-versed in supply management principles and practices.
Responsibilities
· Manage transportation, and other logistics processes.
· Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs.
· Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers.
· Recommend optimal transport modes, routes, or frequency.
· Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria.
. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.
· Upload shipment tracking information manually and in a timely manner when needed
· Maximize efficiency
· Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
· Plan & track quality, quantity, stock levels, shipments, delivery times, and transportation costs.
· Handle start-to-finish processing of shipments.
· Prioritize time-sensitive situations.
· Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements as needed.
· Review and complete reconciliation of weekly outbound shipping carrier invoices.
· Utilize Logistics IT to optimize procedures.
· Ensure delivery timelines are met.
· Manage incoming and outgoing inventory.
· Communicate with Suppliers, Retailers, Customers, etc.
· Maintain logs & records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
· Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
· Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

Skills
· Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator
. Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar
. Preferable: General knowledge of logistics and/or supply chain.
· Record of successful distribution & logistics management.
. Should have advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge and skills
.knowledge of EDI and MAS200
· Knowledge of purchase orders, sales orders, picking slips, BOL, invoices, etc.
· Ability to be self-sufficient and an outstanding multi-tasker.
· Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software and Microsoft Office.
· Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
