The LPN will function under the responsibility of the Physician, NP or PA. The LPN is an integral part of the interdisciplinary health team that will assist in the care of patients, including administration of treatments, education, triage, and clinic flow activities.

Responsibilities:

• Consistent patient-centered, caring disposition
• Contact NP/PA or supervising Physician when required or when in doubt for additional changes during initial or follow-up visits.
• Knowledge of the scope of practice in accordance with the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act
• Performs routine clinic tasks, including injections, maintaining a clean environment, and keeping appropriate exam room inventory
• Evaluates and adjust treatments as necessary to meet the patient's needs in collaboration with NP, PA or Physician
• Assists with taking patient information and rooming patients when needed
• Documents all patient's changes and educates patients on ways to improve health outcomes (ie…diet, exercise, smoking or ETOH cessation, FSBS control)
• Maintains professional appearance at all times
• Maintains confidentiality of patients and staff
• Maintains a clean environment between patients
• Helps to maintain the cleanliness of the clinic

Qualifications:

• Certification from an accredited LPN program
• Licensed in the state of Oklahoma
• Must have a current unencumbered license
• CPR certification
• Previous work in the clinic preferred but not required
