Baldwin Contracting, Inc. is a leading Contract Delivery Service supplier for the United States Postal Service. We are currently seeking applicants to serve as a sub-contractor for mail carrier service (1099-C Position) in Prescott, AZ

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have a clean 5 year driving history
• Must pass a drug test
• Must be able to be stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to enter/exit vehicle, with ease, as required to deliver accountable mail or packages throughout work day
• Delivery vehicle and fuel are provided for this opportunity

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel
• Deliver parcels, Express mail and other accountable mail items as required
• Other administrative duties are required
• Adhering to ALL US Postal Service rules & regulations
• Providing EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE to ALL customers

Must be available to start March 20, 2023

• Work schedule: Thursday - Saturday 6:00 am until finished, daily
• Salary: $22.00 per hour (Hours based on average number of hours required to complete the route and calculated as daily salary = 8 paid hours per shift)
• Training: Successful candidate will have paid training at $15.00 per hour for the initial training period
• Schedule must be flexible to accommodate vacations/days off of regular carrier(s)
• Successful candidate must be willing to learn multiple routes
• Health/Welfare, Vacation and Holiday compensation are already included in pay rate
• Typically, routes requires 6-8 hours of work daily, depending on volume of mail

Experience:

• USPS, FEDEX, UPS delivery; 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service and/or delivery background (preferred)

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Pay: $27,456.00 - $45,760.00 per year
