Make Ready Tech needed with a great attitude and is enthusiastic & passionate about their job. This job includes running work orders and making vacant units ready for move-in. Must be able to pass background and drug screenings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Paints both interior walls of apartments as well as drywall and acoustical repair and/or replacement.
• Paints, stains and varnishes doors and woodwork.
• Lays various types of floor covering.
• Installs appliances such as dishwashers, disposals, water heaters, etc.
• Installs ceiling fans and lighting fixtures.
• Installs window treatments such as mini-blinds.
• Installs and re-keys locks as well as makes duplicate keys.
• Assist supervisor in various other repairs to exteriors and interiors and furnishings of buildings.
• Establishes schedules and adjusts work procedures to meet move-in and production schedules.
• Takes over full supervision of Maintenance Department in the absence of Maintenance Supervisor.
• Participates in operating the property within budget.
• Assists in all paperwork and reporting procedures associated with maintenance on the property.
• Participates in the after-hours emergency on-call service for residents.
• Assists in maintaining all inventory on the property.
• Reports any violations of policies and procedures of TransWest Properties.
• Reports any violation of any city, state or federal law by any employees of TransWest Properties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
