Job description
1. High school education or the equivalent
2. At least 25 years of age
3. Must be willing to subject to call weekend and evenings in the event of an emergency
4. Must have a valid driver's license
5. General knowledge and ability in painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and the use of appropriate tools
6. Must be able to stand or walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour day
7. Must be physically able to waist lift, push and/ or pull maximum of 80# and overhead lift a maximum of 50#, with frequent waist lifting and overhead lifting, pushing and/ or pulling of objects up to 25#
8. Must be able to frequently bend, squat or climb during an 8-hour day
9. Must be knowledgeable in Life Safety Codes
10. Knowledge of call light systems, generator maintenance, heating, cooling, etc.
11. Nursing home maintenance knowledge is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
