ULG SKILLED TRADES is seeking Maintenance mechanics / Millwrights for a full-time position in the Ruston, LA area. This will be a full-time opportunity with the client.

JOB DETAILS:

• PAY: $24.19/hr
• STARTS: ASAP
• HOURS: 40-50 hours/week (shifts rotates 3p-11:30p & 11p-7:30am.)

Position Overview:

Carry out preventative and routine maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. Handle projects that span the spectrum of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatics and welding duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities depending on area assignment
• Ability to troubleshoot / repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Performs the disassembly, repair, and assembly of pneumatic / hydraulic actuators.
• Provides minor service to the forklifts monthly and drives it occasionally.
• Performs minor and major electrical repairs (replacing 3 phase motors, switches, fuses etc.).
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and/or overtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
