Job description
We are seeking a skilled and hard-working candidate to join our team as a Maintenance Technician! He/she maintains all interior and exterior building needs for entire property, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, new construction, remodeling, renovation, painting, and repairs.
Job Duties:
- Assists, promotes, and carries out property maintenance.
- Maintains all buildings, common areas, and patients living areas conscientiously.
- Maintains all interior and exterior building needs for entire property, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, new construction, remodeling, renovation, painting, and repairs.
- Replaces and repairs all maintenance items in order to ensure property zoning, building, fire, safety and health codes and specifications are in compliance.
- Installs and maintains all appliances, furniture, and fixtures.
- Communicates general maintenance observations and issues to Manager
- Participates in Performance Improvement, Maintenance Committee, and others as requested.
- Maintains good public relations with treatment community and associates.
- Maintains up-to-date training in electrical, plumbing, construction, carpentry and other areas mandated by organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- High School/ Some college preferred.
- At least one year of maintenance experience.
Abilities/Competencies:
- Knowledge of principles and practices of the discipline.
- Adheres to: Healthcare Code of Ethics
- Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards
- Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding:
- Client Confidentiality
