Maintenance Technician II

This role is perfect for a candidate with a Manufacturing/Production background.

• 2nd Shift (12pm - 8:30pm / 2:15pm - 10:45pm)
• Located near Burbank, IL
• $33 -$36 per hour

You will be responsible for maintaining industrial machinery and the facility, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing equipment on site. Machinery on-site, but not limited to: Conveyor systems, Steam tunnels, Dryers, Washers and Boilers.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician II

• Conduct Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance activities
• Planned and reactive maintenance (PPM’s)
• Service and repair industrial machinery
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Corrective actions and emergency maintenance
• Fault-finding and diagnostics on machinery
• Work with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, PLC’s, Controls, Drives and Components
• Facilities and Building maintenance activities when required
• Reading engineering drawings and blueprints
• Maintaining Health and Safety Standards

Experience required:

• 6 years minimum Maintenance experience
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience
• Highschool Diploma/GED
• Ability to read and follow blueprints

Preferred additional experience:

• HVAC experience
• Boiler experience
• MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing experience

This position is easily commutable from the following regions: Chicago, Justice, Orland Park, Oak Brook, Hammond, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Downers Grove

Salary: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
