Manager - Facilities Capital Finance and Contracts
The Manager of Capital Finance & Contracts is a critical position within the Facilities Finance team supporting the Facilities, Security and Real Estate organization across the NYP enterprise. There are 3 primary areas of responsibility for the Manager, including team management, process improvements, and data analysis & reporting, which will support the functional areas of contracts for operations and capital projects, capital finance, as well as performing due diligence regarding our vendor base.
This role will oversee the following areas:
Vendor Management
- Reviews and obtains necessary documentation from new vendors and ensuring all documentation on file is updated as necessary (e.g. W9’s, insurance certificates)
- Performs financial due diligence, using D&B analytics platform to screen potential vendors, and facilitates decision making if issues arise for existing or new vendors
Contracts
- Reviews and approves contracts prior to signature by Group SVP. Ensure accuracy and completeness of information, including vendors’ ability to meet NYP insurance requirements.
- Responsible for monitoring and managing vendor change order analysis. Anal yze vendors’ use of change orders to determine trends in billing and spending.
- Supports the strategic vision for contractual agreements by ensuring business terms are fair, equitable, mitigate risk and protect NYP as owner. Revises language in contract templates to meet the goals and reviews with Legal & Risk Management departments as required.
Capital Finance
- Supports the Facilities Design & Construction project initiation process
- Cash Flow Forecasting & Capital Spending Analysis
- Purchase requisitions & invoices for capital projects
This is a full time day position located NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree. Focus in Finance, Business, Management or other similar degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 Years’ Experience

Salary Range:
