Overview:
We are hiring a Manager of Medical Education!

The Manager Medical Education is responsible for managing the daily operational, administrative, and financial management of Presbyterian Delivery System (PDS) Office of Medical Education and the Medical Library. Management of community-based provider education programs. Leads, facilitates, and organizes the activities, goals, and initiatives of these departments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required in a health or education related field.
  • 2 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience

Education:

Essential: * Associate Degree
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures departmental compliance with all applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations, including development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures to this end
  • Tracks, reconciles, and oversees departmental and project budgets in collaboration with leadership
  • Develops and maintains regular internal auditing processes
  • Manages PDS Continuing Medical Education (CME) program and ensures readiness for re-accreditation through the NM Medical Society
  • Oversees PDS Clinical and Medical Rotation (Rotation) program, including management and facilitation of student/resident onboarding and educational institution affiliation agreements
  • Oversees operations and services of the Medical Library
  • Manages and ensures maintenance of files and databases for continuing medical education and student/resident clinical rotations and the Medical Library
  • Provides training to staff and other pertinent individuals regarding use of databases, forms, and other items specific to the Office of Medical Education
  • Acts as a liaison for other PDS departments regarding CME and Rotations
  • Participates on and provides guidance to continuing medical education activity planning committees
  • Oversees and coordinates web content development and enhancements/updates for Medical Director department webpages
  • Manages state-wide Substance Use Disorder Provider Education Programs
  • Oversees coordination and guidance of PDS-Project ECHO Program (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes)
