Role Snapshot

Our Manager of Application Development will manage a technical team of 8 individuals that deliver Web applications, Web services and CRM solutions that help ensure those eligible for TRICARE and VA benefits in the U.S. or overseas receive the highest level of service. This Manager will perform a critical function guiding internal business leadership and key Military and Veterans Health (MVH) stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.
  • 3 or more years of related work and/or leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years in a management capacity over a technical team, including FTE’s and consultant employees.
  • Proven experience leading high performing teams.
  • Have experience developing and leading teams of developers focused on Object Oriented Development (OOP/OOD)( java, C#, or VB .NET programming teams.
  • Have experience with Web Services using REST/JSON and SOAP/XML/WSDL/DTD.
  • Have experience leading migrations of on premises applications to a cloud environments, specifically Azure.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and how it can be leveraged to develop continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) pipelines to streamline our code and application changes.
  • Are comfortable presenting to external partners as well as internal senior WPS leaders across technology and business domains.
  • Experience integrating multiple environments and exchanging data and information between client and customer applications and instances.
  • Experience with Enterprise Customer Relationship Management tools, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.

Salary Range

  • $115,000 to $140,000
  • The base pay offered for this position may vary based on your experience, knowledge, skills, and may fall outside the posted range.

Remote Worker Requirements

For remote position, employee is required to meet remote worker requirements, including a designated work station, a wired (Ethernet) connection to the network, and a minimum of 10Mbps downstream connection with at least 1Mbps upstream (can be checked at https://speedtest.net)
